Early this year i decided to undergo an individual PRH Program with Zofia, Australia PRH educator. This year is my second (2nd) year doing this guided Personal Methodical Growth Program with her. At the beginning of the yearly program, i promised to be committed to attend the Eight (8) monthly meetings scheduled for the year. Today is my Third (3th) Skype meeting and am excited to share my FPM works publicly.
The PRH approach distinguishes Five (5) separate realities within the person; they called "Pivotal Centres". These important realities are presented in the "diagram of the Pivotal centers of the person" picture below.
For a zero psychology knowledge like me, i find it quiet difficult to understand the concept and theory of the teaching at first but after participating and involves in the PRH program, i found that it is an easy, realistic and logical diagram to learn.
There are Five (5) pivotal centers of each person:-
1. The Being (Difficult part)
2. The Deep Conscience (slightly difficult)
3. The "I"
4. The Sensibility ( all about feelings)
5. The Body
" From PRH book - Writing it really helps!"
By knowing and exploring this five Pivotal centers will lead to self-knowledge and eventually help us to move forward in life.
3th FPM Program for the year 2016 (10th June 2016)
THE SENSIBILITY
Some excerpts from my notes
* The nervous system is the physiological support of the sensibility. It keeps track.
* What Belongs to the pleasant and happy category leaves harmonious traces
* What belongs to the unpleasant and painful category leaves disharmonious traces under the form of fears, tension, anguish, aggressiveness, stress, nervousness, etc.
* Therefore, the sensibility plays a fundamental role in the process of self-knowledge because of its functions to feel, to vibrate, to transit messages, to register them and to restore them.
Two zones of Sensibility
i) Surface / Superficial zone
This zone is very epidermal and very reactive, at the moment the sensibility is touched. Reaction are often short-lived, unforeseeable and at times amplified.
ii) Deep zone
characterized by more stability. Reaction are less primal, the sensations are felt as being not so superficial, and more loaded with psychological content. At this level, we can observe the presence of pockets of pain, often unconscious, stemming from past wounds. Whenever this wounds are reawakened, they cause significant perturbations that invade the entire surface and deep sensibility.
Suffering embedded in the sensibility
How does this embedded occur?
While children are still too young to stand up for themselves, they are very dependent on their huan surroundings, especially on their father and mother. If parents do not allow them the right to be themselves according to the potentialities of their being, they are prevented from developing according to the axis of who they are. This causes them to experience very deep and more or less intense suffering.
children, without being aware of it, set up protective mechanisms which will distance the from the suffering. this suffering is repressed and becomes embedded in the deep sensibility which enables them to survive. Many pockets of pain may be thus be embedded in the sensibility.
Children may be hampered or deviate. they invest their energy in aspects of themselves that meet the approval of those around them and they may seem to be happy and well put together. but, in fact, behind this facade, they experience hurt and inner emptiness.
The existence of these pockets of suffering subsists into adulthood. it is revealed through disproportionate and recurrent reactions in the face of certain events, situations, and persons that awaken the sensibility to past wounding.
How to manage suffering and a wounded sensibility?
everyone has their range of primal reactions whenever the sensibility is in pain: some have rather introverted reactions of the closing off type; others react in a rather extroverted way, accusing or being aggressive toward others; others fall apart.
** What stays in you after reading this?
PRH is a method which i learn how to being aware of my disproportionate reaction towards any persons, events and situations which little by little help me to my own self-knowledge.
Zofia, Australia PRH educator will conduct workshops in Malaysia scheduled end of this year. Here are some of the Information of the coming workshop.
